2018------2019年度第学期英语备课组活动

东善桥小学年级英语备课组于2019424日进行集体备课,针对《6B Unit6 An interesting country(story time)》一课进行了教学研讨。

本节课主备人是陶园玲老师,整个六年级组老师先对本课的教材进行学习,讨论确定本课的教学目标以及教学的重难点。然后陶老师就story time提出一备教案,其他六年级老师就她的教案各抒已见,结合六年级学生的学情,提出修改意见,最后整合,形成二备教案。

活动主题

关注学生学习力生长,提升课堂教学品质

为提高备课效果和教学水平,更好地凝聚集体智慧,年级英语备课组就6B Unit6 An interesting country (story time)一课开展集体备课。

活动安排如下:

一、由主备人就6B Unit6 An interesting country (story time)一课撰写一备教案。

二、会议研讨分析第单元主题及《《6B Unit6 An interesting country (story time)这一课文文本,分析年级学生学情。

三、各英语老师针对一备教案之不足提出自己的修改意见。

四、主备人整合修改意见形成二备教案。

教学内容

(Story time)

教学目标

  1. 知识目标:

能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词: kangaroo, koala, Australian football,Sydney

②能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写句型:I/you/we/they/he/she’ll….

  1. 能力目标:

通过课文重点语言知识点的学习,能理解课文内容,能自然流畅地给课文内容配音和表演。

教学重点

能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词: kangaroo, koala, Australian football,Sydney

②能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写句型:I/you/we/they/he/she’ll….

教学难点

能理解,正确朗读,表演Story time,并能自编类似情景。

教学方法

交际教学法、直观教学法、讲授法、小组合作教学法等

Step I Warming up 创设情境,激活经验

Free talk

 Where did you go ?

 Did you go to foreign country ?

 Do you want to know about foreign country?

 Do you know in which country there is a kangaroo?(教师做动作让学生去猜)

 Ok ,let’s go to Australia today

Step II 自主学习,获取经验

  1. Watch the cartoon and find the answers.

How can they know about Australia?

  1. Learn the new words

:Australian football   Sydney

3. read the story carefully and find the answer: what does he know ?

4.Read the dialogue after the cartoon and sum up the dialogue

Step III  合作学习,交流经验

在小组长指导下,小组成员交流自主学习部分。

小组交流完后,小组与小组之间就不理解的地方再进行交流。

  1. Free talk

T shows a map of the world before class.

There are four countries concerned: China, Australia, the UK, the USA

T: What countries did you see on the map of the world just now?

When students are going to answer, T can show the map of each country in turn as a hint.

S recall and say out the four countries.

T: What do you think of the four countries?

is acountry.

SChina is a beautiful country.

SThe USA is a big country.

TWere going to talk about one country of them.

Guess! What country are we going to talk about?

T gives students 2 hints to guess.

1. It is the 6th big country in the world.

2. It is in the southern hemisphere.

T leads in the topic.

T: We are going to learn something about Australia with these children today.

T shows a picture in the text.

2. Presentation

T: Look at the picture. They are talking.

What are they talking about?

Lets watch the cartoon and try to find out.

  1. What to learn about the country.

  2. How to find out about the country.

  3. What they know about the country.

2. Read, match and say

Q: How will the students find out about this country?

T shows some pictures of students and the ways they learn.

S read the first part of the text and then do the match.

When they are doing the match, they should use the sentences like:

3. Think hard

T: The title of our text is an interesting country.

T: Think over this question: Why do people call Australia an interesting country?

T gives students some hints: animals, weather, sports, cities

S can have a free talk first.

S: There are some interesting animals in Australia.

S: There are some beautiful cities in the country.

S are required to read the next part of the text and think hard.

Group work:

  1. Read the text onP59

  2. Talk in the group and find out why

  3. Try not to look at the book when you stand up talking.

Step 1 Greeting & Warm-up

1. Greeting (问候)

T: Hello, boys and girls.

S: Hello, teacher.

T: I’m glad to see you.

S: Glad to see you, too.

2. Free talk (自由对话)

T shows a map of the world before class.

There are four countries concerned: China, Australia, the UK, the USA.

T: What countries did you see on the map of the world just now?

Ss recall and say out the four countries. (学生说出四个国家的名称)

T: What do you think of the four countries?

(Use the sentence pattern: is a country.)

S: China is a beautiful country.

S: The USA is a big country.

T: We’re going to talk about one of the countries. Guess! What country are we going to talk about? (教师给予学生2个提示)

(1) It is the 6th biggest country in the world.

(2) It is in the southern hemisphere.

T: (教师导入课题) We are going to learn something about Australia with these children today. (教师展示一张课文图片)

【设计意图:通过问答出示一些孩子比较熟悉的国家鼓励孩子用已知的英语来描述这些国家

Step 2 Presentation

1. Watch and answer (看和回答)

T: Look at the picture. They are talking. What are they talking about?

Let’s watch the cartoon and try to find out. What can we learn about the country?

How can we find out about the country? What do they know about the country?

2. Read, match and say

Q: How will the students find out about this country?

(教师给学生呈现一些图片和学习方法,学生首先阅读课文第一部分,然后完成匹配题目)

(当学生在完成匹配题目时,他们可以使用以下句型)

3. Think hard (认真思考)

(1) T: The title of our text is “An interesting country”. Think over this question: Why do people call Australia “an interesting country”?

(教师给予学生一些提示,如:动物、天气、运动和城市,学生首先可以互相讨论一下)

S: There are some beautiful cities in the country.

(2) Read the text on Page 59

Talk in the group and find out why (小组讨论并找到答案:为什么)

Try not to look at the book when you stand up talking. (当学生回答问题的时候,尽量不看书本,自己组织语言回答)
